Thanksgiving FUN!

For a lesson on SYMMETRY, we put dots of paint and folded and pressed.  We added circle eyes and a beak using a square folded from corner to corner.  They turned out so cute!

Little Panda Art Activity

We decided to create an art activity for Little Panda, the story of Hua-Mei who was born at the San Diego Zoo.  They turned out so cute!

Week of November 14th

Tuesday, during our snack time, the children and I will have our own FEAST to celebrate how thankful we are to be a school family of friends. Each child selected a food item they would like to bring and share.  


On Thursday, we will carry the students to our Fine Arts Center to see the play LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD put on by Little Aggies Theater. I'm sure this will be a new experience for most children.  I will be sharing a few YouTube clips with them about this story so they get a better understanding of the play.


On Friday, we will wrap up our Thanksgiving Fun with a Pow Wow!!  Our local Cherokee Indian tribe will join us for a fun filled day.  They will share stories, artifacts, dance, and music with our children.  

Week of November 7th

This week we are learning about nutritious, healthy eating.  Our focus letter is Nn with Thanksgiving fun.  We discussed healthy snacks to bring and share at our Thanksgiving Feast which will be held next Tuesday during our snack time.
